Meet the Team

Hi, I’m Taylor!

I was born and raised in Texas and obtained my bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Studies from Liberty University. Soon after graduation I began traveling the world as a full time missionary for 2 years through Adventures in Missions. During my world travels I found myself in a small village in Nepal. I was able to witness firsthand the need for women's health care. My passion for serving women and families through their child bearing years began. I knew right away that midwifery would be a part of the rest of my life.

I soon embarked on another journey half way across the world to start my midwifery journey. During my two and a half years in the Philippines I had the wonderful opportunity to serve hundreds of women at a high volume charity birth center. My time in the Philippines grew my love for working alongside women and their families during such an important time in their lives. I am still so amazed that I get to be a part of such an important journey in a family’s life.

I strongly believe in the beauty of birth and the strength that lies within each woman to not only birth naturally, but to be fully informed, and involved every step of the way. Being able to encourage women to believe in themselves throughout pregnancy, birth, and into their own journey as a mother is one of my greatest passions.

In my free time I love to bake, cook, and spend quality time with my community exploring the PNW.

Hi, I’m Kayla!

I was born & raised in Upstate New York and am the oldest of 7 kids. At 14 years old the Lord laid midwifery on my heart, and at 16 He called me into full-time missions. I started my midwifery journey in 2019 in the Philippines, and my biggest desire is to one day move back and help lower the maternal & infant mortality rates through education, training, and proper neonatal healthcare. I lived in the Philippines from 2019-2020 and then I worked as a student and birth assistant in Arlington, WA until 2023. I have attended over 400 births, and each one is so unique and special to me. It is always such a joy to walk through pregnancy with someone and then be able to be a part of their birth and postpartum experience. I firmly believe that birth belongs to women and I love getting to watch families make empowered, informed decisions for themselves and their babies. I’m a lover of all things neonatology, missions, and snacks, and I’ll never turn down the opportunity to go get a treat with my friends. I love baking & writing, and in my free time, you’ll usually find me reading a medical article or practice protocol. I like to dabble in birth & newborn photography and also have enjoyed being a postpartum doula in the past.

I look forward to getting to know you and your family and being by your side as you welcome your new baby! Ephesians 3:14-21
